Group yoga class session

Beginner mat class

Begin to learn the foundations of Pilates.  Focus will be on the principles of Classical Pilates - centering, concentration, control, breathing, precision and flow. We will work on pelvic placement, core activation, shoulder stabilisation and back connection.  From here we will explore some of the initial exercises, building your confidence and knowledge and a strong foundation from which to progress to the intermediate class. 

Intermediate mat class

Suitable for those who have developed a good level of practice in the beginner classes, we will progress to learning a repertoir of classical Pilates exercises. We will continue to focus on the basic principles, whilst challenging coordination and balance, working on mind-body connections and increasing load in order to develop length, strength and stamina in your body.  

Advanced mat class

Suitable for those who are very experienced at mat Pilates practice, have a deep understanding of the fundamental exercises and can perform intermediate level exercises to a good standard. This is a faster paced, flowing class which will progress to incorporate the entire classical Pilates repertoire of exercises. 

Private 1:1s and Duets

1:1 and duet sessions mean you can have an individualised session at a time to suit you.

Duet sessions are mat based.

​

1:1s can be on the mat, reformer or tower (or a combination of all three as required)

​

One introductory 1:1 session is available to all new clients at a reduced price.  Please see the pricing page for further information.

Pilates for bone health 

and balance

Would you like to work on improving your bone density? Or are concerned that your balance isn't what it used to be? Then this class is for you.  A gentle paced class, suitable for total beginners.  A blend of classical Pilates and other exercises chosen to work especially on balance and muscle strength.  We will also include weight bearing and resistance exercises to help improve bone density.  Pilates can also help with posture and pain.
