New to Pilates?
"EVERY MOMENT OF OUR LIFE CAN BE THE BEGINNING OF GREAT THINGS"
Joseph Pilates
What to wear?
It is best to practice Pilates in bare feet or clean socks (ideally with non-slip soles).
Please wear comfortable fitness clothing that isn't too baggy, so that I can observe your posture and alignment. You will get warm during the session so layers are ideal.
What to bring?
Please bring a water bottle. You don't need to bring your own mat as we have professional pilates mats available. However, if you would prefer to use your own then of course you are more than welcome to bring one.

Who is Pilates suitable for?
One of the advantages of Pilates is that it is suitable for everybody. All of the exercises can be modified to make them accessible to people of all different levels of fitness and mobility. And as strength and ability improves, the exercises can be made more challenging to ensure you keep making progress.

Do men do Pilates?
Absolutely! Pilates was originally invented by a man, Joseph Pilates, for men. Pilates was originally used as a form of physical therapy to help rehabilitate soldiers injured in World War I.
